I didn't like the product I received because the Element remote wouldn't turn on the TV. I wanted to make sure the Element remote was the problem, so I ordered a Revain universal remote. Of course, the universal remote turned on the TV. So I know without a doubt that it was the Element remote that wasn't working.

UPDATED. So I tried different batteries than the ones in the old remote I was replacing. Another set of AAA batteries worked, so now this remote works too. Below I leave my first review. I received the item very quickly and was delighted to be able to replace the remote in my guest room. Insert batteries and follow instructions. NOTHING. I tried taking the batteries out, different batteries, everything I could think of. NOTHING. I checked again to make sure it was the right remote. Nothing yet.
