That's a complete waste of money! The first 2 bulbs sent to me dangled and rattled when I tried them in my Germ Guardian air purifier. I thought, okay, try two more. not correct! One was broken into small pieces and the other was just as bad. I ordered one from the Germ Guardian website, $10 more, but it's a real real lightbulb. And guess what? It worked great. Be careful and don't buy them, they are complete rubbish!

A cheaper set of two UV lamps is indistinguishable to me from the original OEM part it replaces. It only took a Phillips screwdriver to remove the metal plate on the fan to access the light. A simple plug into the socket makes it easy to pull out the old lamp and insert a new one. I recommend using rubber gloves or other means to avoid fingerprints on the bulb. The lamp will last longer if you don't hit the glass of the bulb with your bare hands.

I bought this product to replace my car bulb with a Pioneer air filter. After the replacement, the light bulb did not burn at first, but flickered and went out.
