This is a simple plug and play replacement for dash and footwell lamps and is much brighter. However, they have a very strong blue tint, so if you're sensitive to that, I wouldn't buy them.

Literally in 2 minutes I removed the old ones and installed the new ones! I have pretty dark tinted windows on my jeep and you can hardly see anything with regular bulbs and they are easily 2-3 times brighter. I also prefer a clearer white light compared to the yellowish tint you got with the old one.

This is one of the most affordable, easy to install, and inexpensive 'mods' anyone can make for their Jeep. The stock interior lighting is too dim to even read (let alone find anything you might have dropped behind the seat). These super bright LEDs simply plug into the same sockets as traditional incandescent bulbs and give off a MUCH brighter light to work with.

Update from 08/14/2021: Installed in my DOME light for almost 5 months and still in great condition. I had no problems with my JKU 2014. I'm still trying to find a bulb for the MAP light (rear above the passenger, behind and behind the door). Original review: I only installed them in the dome housing over the weekend. You are wonderful. I can really read at night it's so bright. Hope they last a long time.
