Just got it today and first it was a pain to get it open even with the tools that came with it. But once we got it open my tablet came on quickly and I was happy because I haven't used it in 2 years. It was only on 32% and it started to charge but then it said it won't charge correctly if I'm not using the original charger. I did have a Samsung adapter but only a basic Android cable. Thought it was fake at first because I was planning to buy a new public and some timing on the market you have like some batteries that supposed to be new and doesn't class at all this one was really good I went from 35 minutes Home Depot old battery to up to three days now so I recommanded it

Old battery wouldn't last more than an hour. Tablet was used only for games and we wanted to keep it going, but didn't feel like laying out the extra funds for a whole new tablet. Replacement did the trick!

Battery worked well but it did not fix my particular problem. I think I'll have to change out my charging port next. Reduced performance!

I can not review the performance of the battery yet due to a lack of tools. When searching for this product across the many available items, I noticed all of them came with the required tools to disassemble the tablet. Whe. After getting it installed my Samsung tab A charges in a couple of hours when it used to take all night and maybe not get to 100%My tablet had been restarting on it's own which was very frustrating especially when I was watching a video. It doesn't restart anymore.

This replacement was easy to install, though not the first one I've done. Battery life is as good as OEM at least. Plus the tool kit is handy. I gave only four stars for ease of installation because that is not an easy process for any replacement though nothing about this one made it any harder.

Battery once installed was at 67%. Couple hours later in standby mode, only dropped 2%.Did not use the tools that came with it so can't comment on the quality of it. This battery looks and fits like OEM. The label on the replacement battery looks the same as the original battery except for the Dentsing sticker. Not real hard to install; I did crack the tempered glass screen protector that I had installed.

There are no instructions for removing the back of the Tab A. You will need to google it yourself. Using the tools they sent, I was unable to remove the back of the unit. I stopped because I was damaging the bevel; their nylon tools were inadequate, they bent and crushed, were not thin enough to fit between the back and bevel. Battery is correct model for Samsung Tab A. It was received with tools, but I felt the tools were inadequate for the job. I broke 2 of them in the first 10 minutes (and I have done similar repairs on other devices in the past, so not like I was a newbie). Ultimately I hired a local repair shop to perform the replacement. And good thing I did as the glue on the battery was pretty heavy. Using the guitar pick my Samsung Tab A came apart with little difficulty, however I managed to render the tablet useless while removing the wiring harness. Some detailed instructions would have been beneficial.
