So like a dummy I left my work laptop charger outside and it started raining. I needed a replacement ASAP and there were options, this one that looks like the old style and a $25.99 one that was the newer style. I chose this one because it was cheaper and the description said it would fit my laptop model. I'm happy to say it works great and the price was fantastic.

I was afraid my laptop would have problems when it stopped charging completely; but no, this confirms it was just a previous charger that made weird hissing noises for weeks and eventually died. The new one works perfectly and doesn't make any weird noises, which are basically my two criteria for computer chargers at the moment.

I'm not sure if the place where I plug into my laptop is damaged but it fits very poorly and a Dialog box appears saying this is not a Dell approved power supply. There is a pin missing in the middle of the silver part that goes into the computer compared to the OEM, but I don't know if that is the source of the problem. I spent hours prior to ordering to ensure it was the correct item for my computer and that it looked exactly like the original except for the missing center pin.
