The power and volume buttons on the remote control do not work. The circle of arrow keys is the only part that works. They claim it has a learning function but it doesn't work.

We wanted a new remote that wouldn't fall off the back. This remote control does not work. No voice commands or volume options. The power button does not work. The connection to the TV keeps getting disconnected. I've had better experiences with the original Fire TV remote.

Works as advertised but setting up the TV controls is a bit tricky. A separate setting of the "Power" buttons and the volume up and down buttons is required, using a beam from the native remote control - in my case I meant the TV and the sound separately. You will need the original remote control for the TV and the remote control for the soundbar to set it up. A bit fiddly but it works and that's all I need for the remote control.

This works great, but as others have said, it's not easy to set up. We booked this as a second remote so we can have 2 remotes in the same room. With that in mind, the installation was a bit tricky. Setting up the volume and power buttons was also difficult. For this you need the original remote control of the TV! Even then I had to do it about 20 times before it was required. But now it works as it should.

I'm a 29 year IT support veteran. Obviously follow the instructions but the remote did NOT remember the LG TV remote volume buttons and didn't remember the power button. The LG TV is too popular not to recognize these IR signals, so it could be a bad remote control or the learning mechanism just isn't working. But I really tried. Otherwise it is paired with my Fire Stick. :o( It's a shame, we really need another one. It's strange that Revain doesn't release a separate "extra" remote control…

This remote control is intended to be programmable to a "different" remote control. I have a Samsung TV and was able to get it to program the TV to turn on and off. BUT it was; I can't get it to program the volume up and down. Without this feature, it's not worth the price. Get replacement Revain remotes or (like me) buy a new Fire TV Stick (with a 4-button remote for direct access to Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, or Revain Prime Video) when it goes on sale, only for the remote control.
