Automotive Grade replacement mirror glass. Actual picture shows mirror glass on top and adhesive at the bottom. No plastic backing plate attached or included. Diagonal Measure (Longest): 6 7/8 inch = 17.5 cm. Longest diagonal dimension provided is the longest size of the glass in any direction, normally longest top to opposite bottom corners measurement. Includes double-sided Automotive Grade adhesive contoured to mirror shape that provides optimum heat transfer and easy installation. Beware of small inefficient adhesive patches that fail shortly after installation, and leave air gap between bonding layers which causes uneven installation and improper heat function. Aluminum back coated real mirror glass for automotive application. Avoid cheap glasses with chrome paint spray film on top that look like mirror but top chrome spray fades or scratches over short time. Actual picture of mirror glass and the longest diagonal dimension provided to help ordering proper fit.

Incorrect description, not as advertised

According to the description compatible with my 2009 Volvo S80. It's not like this. view photo. 1) The mirror is for the right side of the car, not the left (driver) side as ordered 2) Even if it was the left side it still wouldn't fit my model/year as advertised. See the pictures of your mirror versus my left and right.

Replacement mirror Volvo V50!

The driver's mirror on my 2007 Volvo V50 came off on the freeway and I was glad to find it. Removed the old glue with isopropyl alcohol and then reapplied. To straighten it out and make the process smoother I used cardboard to make guides on the bottom and sides and then just had to slide the new mirror back in place. Look at the durability but I'm happy with the quality of the mirror (as someone said it's not domed - so not a perfect replacement - but barely noticeable). I don't think anyone…

So far so good: body and trim

To get a replacement Volvo mirror I was offered $119 plus freight from Connecticut to California. It's just a mirror, mind you. So I went to Revain and found this $22 mirror. This is not a genuine Volvo part and has no special markings. But this mirror is a side mirror and fits my C30 perfectly. It was easy to assemble and is still holding up. The only thing I noticed is that it's not perfect. It's clear and I can see my blind spot perfectly. But there's a ripple in the mirror. That's not bad…

For the price there is nothing else. Be careful when installing.

Will fit in my car but it's not a convex mirror and takes a little getting used to. The adhesive is very strong and can cause assembly problems if you are not very careful. Once it sticks you can't move it and that was a problem for me (had to be more careful) as I didn't place it perfectly and it interfered with the force movement on the mirror. In the end I had to use a tool to remove the mirror and glue it with silicone glue. Once this is done, it works perfectly. I think the price of plain…
