Parts fit well on Xbox One

You need to watch a youtube video that explains how to replace each part needed and I broke a few things on my remote but im Generally the parts are holding up well and the buttons work. I would recommend watching the video to the end before you start doing anything.

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • Obsolete model

I THOUGHT I HAD THE WRONG REPAIR KIT :)

I needed to repair the right analog stick and LB top bumper. The bumper worked great, but the right analog stick still doesn't fit or work. The tools worked to open the controller but still a useless controller to me. I had to buy a full repair kit.

Pros
  • Pleases
Cons
  • Requires socket

Doesn't work for me.

I couldn't get my son's disabled Microsoft OEM controller to work with this kit. I broke an original button on the controller. I'm used to fixing electronics, cars etc (I've set up full recording studios including all the wiring and soldering and outboard hardware for example, I've rebuilt Porsche 911 engines) so it shouldn't have been a difficult task for me. . The "New" button didn't fit properly and didn't activate the inner button after closing the controller. I spent a lot of time on this…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Minor issues

Bumper part doesn't fit, all parts are cheaply made

I bought this to replace the bumpers on my 1697 model controller. The bumper piece doesn't fit properly, so it doesn't work. When mounted, the bumpers cannot be dented at all. I've tried a few times to see if I can get it to sit properly but it just doesn't fit. Thumb sticks have visible and tactile lines from the mold they were cast in which makes them look awful. All buttons are blank. So when you replace the face button, there is no icon on it. (The last point is secondary, but annoying…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • For an old one

No OEM quality, look or feel. But no fear.

I have an Xbox controller for my PC and have played Rocket League on that controller alone for at least 500 hours. He was used, traveled and abused when he finally decided to break up (RB). I bought it thinking it would be OEM quality but it isn't. Haptically plastic and significantly cheaper than the original. These parts didn't fit properly either, I had to try to get them to work and function normally. I've used the entire kit to black out my controller or had it custom painted and the black

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say
