I like the way it looks. Nobody here would carve me a key. It was very easy to program, but it doesn't work very well. I have to be right at my car to lock or unlock the car and unlocking sometimes only works after you press the button more than 10 times. I would not recommend it

I bought it thinking it would work on Escape 03 v6, the remote control was made in 2 minutes, the key is easy to cut. But the transmitter never worked. It took a locksmith half a day to program it and it didn't work. He opened it and replaced the transmitter with another he had and worked for the next half hour.

The description says it will fit 2010 Ford Explorer but after trying it a few times I've had no luck. I was able to put Explorer into programming mode but there is no response to pressing a button on the new remote. It's really just not possible.

Fits Ford Escape 2007 and 2012 I was able to program it myself using Forscan software then I used some YouTube videos to program the remote control. The only downside is the lack of instructions on how to remove the key from the remote to disconnect it. I almost screwed up trying to delete this. The battery also died in one of the keys.

I really like this remote because it's a huge improvement over the standard square remote. The only problem some people may encounter when replacing the battery. You have to remove one screw and it's not difficult at all, the problem starts after removing this screw because the whole remote will fall apart, you have to be careful not to lose the key pin or it won't fall out.

This review is written from the point of view of a person who does not understand electronics or vehicles. I would definitely recommend this product to any beginner looking to buy this type of device. Don't call a locksmith unless you want to spend extra money. The remote control can be easily disassembled to remove the key for cutting. Easy to assemble. For most people who buy this remote, the hardest part is going to be cutting the key. I bought this remote and key for my 2008 Ford Mustang GT. Had to try a few spots including the ace hardware and others before going to the lock and key location. Ace Hardware didn't cut the key because they said it would void the warranty on their machines. $5 and 10 minutes later I was on my way.
