They work great if accepted by this Brother MFC-J491DW printer! It was so embarrassing! We are required by law to recycle and companies are required to force their printers to accept recycled cartridges, but this chip identification seems to be changing all the time from printer manufacturer My Brothers! These cartridges fit the Brothers MFC-J491DW printer. The print quality was also excellent. I would recommend not confusing cartridges with original Innobella cartridges. This works best when all cartridges are aftermarket. I had a few issues initially until after a local sale I unplugged and plugged the printer in with these cartridges and then plugged it back in. First of all, the package arrived very early! Well! So I put 4 cartridges in the printer and nothing! Aha! I knew the printhead might be dirty. But it only took two tries and my printer printed perfectly. No stains, cracks or drying problems. I will definitely be her again. The only thing I wish they had given you other black color options. Two is good 3 would be better. You can buy separately but that's just me. Do yourself a favor and try them out! Great price and great color pictures

I think perfection from the start is rarely possible and more important is how the company responds to the inevitable setbacks. When I installed the first black cartridge, the printer didn't recognize it was installed and wouldn't print. I contacted the company and received an immediate response with recommendations, and while the monitor lights still indicate I need to replace the black cartridge, it works perfectly. I am very satisfied with both the product and the customer service.

I'm glad I bought this product because it's a great deal but I should have read the reviews first it would have helped. When I first installed the cartridges the printer screen showed a question mark on each of the newly installed cartridges so I figured there must be a problem so I uninstalled and reinstalled them - same problem. I came to Revain to reorder iKong cartridges I ordered last year and for some reason they are no longer available so I decided to give them a try. Huge mistake! These cartridges work great with my Brother printer but the colors are not true at all! Green turns yellow and blue turns pink!
