Works as advertised

Works great, cleaned up some codes I got a lot. The part is perfect, but it takes a lot of patience and handguns to fit it into a 2004 Honda CR-V.

Pros
  • Detonation
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Day 1 after repair and so far all good

Perfect fit and knock sensor code corrected for now. I've heard that it might not last long or that there is a general problem with the wiring harness, but everything is fine for the first week.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Can't remember

Working as intended Sensors

The engine light went on and off, it turned out to be the knock sensor. Shop labor is $60+ for this part and 1 hour 30 for labor which is excessive. Luckily someone with some knowledge found them and it was free.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Some trouble

The knock sensor is good. Read please.

So here's the thing, if you need to replace the knock sensor on your car and the knock sensor fails you don't have a bad knock sensor, it's a ladder your piston rods come out of. Luckily I didn't have this problem, but I see many similar problems. If the check engine light doesn't go out immediately, that's okay, after about 100 to 200 kilometers it will go out by itself.

Pros
  • Sensors
Cons
  • Zero
