Good set of sexing probes for reptiles and amphibians

Very good set for the money. I would like the sensors to be color coded for size identification. Easy to use, although the snakes didn't like it that much πŸ˜‚

Small probes are sharp, not round.

The probes I received are not safe to use. The smaller ones were very sharp and not rounded as described. It was so obvious I didn't even bother trying them.

Smallest 3 sharp

The 3 largest probes have rounded ends which seem to work well for larger snakes. The smallest 3 do not have rounded ends and even feel sharp to the touch, far from stinging a small snake. The case is also cheap and is really only for transportation, not efficient storage of the probes. Really disappointed in these.

Good set for small snakes

Good kit for testing baby and smaller snakes. The largest probe would probably fit a one year old ball python. The range of sizes is suitable for the most common types of snakes such as garter snakes, corn snakes, king snakes or milk snakes. The quality seems to be good. No sharp edges. It comes in a box with a sensor pad, although you could accidentally push the sensors through the pad if you're not careful in inserting or removing them as it's not glued on. never mind If you want something…
