Doesn't work with 50 watt Repti heater

I'm having trouble turning on and servicing the 50 watt Zoo-Med heat lamp in both of my lights. I am currently trying to use halogen bulbs.

Suitable for reptiles For heat lamps

I really like that they are adjustable. I bought 4 for my lizard enclosure. She needs a 120 degree bathing spot. It's great to tune in to find the right tempo. They hang lower than I thought, but it works fine. I've had them for a few weeks now and they're working great so far.

Really disappointed

In my case they would be perfect. If only they would work. I bought 6 because it was exactly what I was looking for. However, after trying 2 new bulbs, most didn't work. I should have read the reviews more carefully before buying so many! Anyway, they don't work so I'll continue my search. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. :(

All 4 didn't work. best heat lamps

Would love to use them on my new case. They fit perfectly for what I needed them for, but unfortunately the first 2 I ordered didn't fit. Customer service was great and sent a replacement but unfortunately my 2 replacements didn't work either. Hopefully they can figure out what's wrong with them, so maybe in the future I could buy one and make it work, or other people can buy it and make it work.

Defective product versus good product

I like the ceramic base, easy two-screw installation and maneuverability of this product. I'm curious to see how my reptile bulbs do, but for now testing socket 1 hasn't worked. Tried swapping the wires inside and a few other tricks but it was a faulty socket. Bottom Line: A good product with a 50/50 chance of sockets not working (you can see that in other reviews too). What's an unacceptable level of quality assurance for a company if you're like me?

Nice concept, needs some work in the quality department.

I've searched and searched and it turned out that this lamp is hard to find and then I found this one. When I was almost done I received my new lights only to find that they contained nothing but the bulb I needed! It fits except for some other lamps I have but not intended to be used as they are not UVA/UVB lamps. So I was disappointed that it wasn't the right fit for the main lamp that I wanted. Aside from this great concept, however, some improvements could be made.
