"Underwhelmed " Fits Headphones

Sol Republic gave me one of my favorite headphones when I was a kid, the HD Tracks on-ear headphones. I assumed that given the Amps Air 2.0 price point, the sleek packaging and the excellent charging station they would offer top-notch sound quality! Unfortunately, the product did not convince me surprisingly. First, the sound quality wasn't up to par. I was expecting the earbuds to be well rounded and actually found the sound quality to be good but not great, even after resizing the earbuds toโ€ฆ

An unfortunate step backwards from the previous model and almost ruined sound

I was excited to see they were available in Sol Republic. I had the first model and used it every day for commuting. They lasted about 3 hours and allowed each kidney to be used in monoform. The bass hit HARD and they sounded great. Enter version 2.0, which fixes the first series' moisture issues and causes the speaker to die prematurely, and also fixes connection issues. it worked fine but for a long time. Next up was the sound. CALMโ€ฆ. I had to turn the volume up to 60% to hear anythingโ€ฆ

Poor quality compared to other products from this brand.

Right ear died and sounded very dull after less than 2 months of short term use. Definitely not the usual Sol Republic durability I'm used to. Sound quality and battery life were good for what they are, but for the price I expect them to last a bit longer.

Good but not outstanding headphones

Apart from the short battery life (which is to be expected with any headphone) with continuous use (approx. 4 hours after full use with continuous use). The sound quality is excellent, the bass is a bit quiet but after adjusting the EQ I was able to polish the sound. I love that the earbuds will notify you when they need charging. If you have a suitcase nearby, you're good to go.
