Broke on first use - straighten

We bought two of these, on first use one of the handles broke at the seam rendering it unusable. We were carrying an indoor workout victim, the man weighed about 100 pounds, and the stretcher traveled about 8 feet before it broke. We have contacted the company regarding a replacement and are awaiting a response. We haven't tried the second yet. The concept is good, it fits well in the back, but the problem is the quality. Unsafe for evacuation or transport.

As a former Army Combat Medic, Mechanical Engineer and now an MD, I would not recommend this cheap product for transporting anyone or anything over 150 pounds. Nylon straps are very cheap and loose, and the stitching is weak and of poor quality. It reminds me of a cheap Halloween costume you can find at a dollar store. Fits Niche: Furniture and Patient Transport

I work for a Wilderness Search and Rescue Team and a Disaster Search and Rescue Team. As a backup for use in an emergency, this is what you need. We put a 200 pound man in it during a wilderness search and rescue and dragged him through various terrain. The handles will wear out on your hands, so you'll need gloves.
