I bought a lighted starter kit. I was very excited when he fell. I followed the instructions on the packaging. The resin is so thick that it is difficult to pour. The cups proved unusable and spoiled after the first filling. So many bubbles I had to use a heat gun and when I tried using a UV light the top hardened but the bottom started bubbling again making it impossible to remove the bubbles and ruining the whole thing . useless . Using this for button sized items will work just fine, but…

Resin is very viscous and can be difficult to work with. When you squeeze it out of the bottle it tends to have quite a few bubbles because it's thick. I recommend putting it in a separate bowl and pouring it into a mold from there. But the light is terrible. It does next to nothing with the resin, and only died after using it a couple of times :/ Grab the resin if you want, but don't grab that kit for the light resin combo, you still have to replace the light. This is my first time using UV resin and I think this product is pretty good. It smells but I can stand it. This one seems to be of the thicker kind. As I said, this is my first time using UV resin so I don't know how much it shrinks on another brand that "shrinks", but when I filled in the cube shape it shrank. (So next time I filled in a bit more to keep it flat after curing) The 3 smaller cubes are 5mm and the ones that have only been UV cured 1 time but the larger cube left some stickiness,
