I'm a serious seamstress and I love quality gear. This small plate is very helpful in storing and using irons. I thought it might be fragile for the price but it's sturdy and good quality. You can take the steamer without tension. Really good deal.

Strong but not heavy enough. I bump into it and it falls off easily but I use it and it works but not very well. It doesn't really fit the shape of my iron. too small. They had to come up with a general shape that was a bit larger than an iron, especially as mine iron is very common.

Just what I need to keep my iron in the closet so it doesn't burn the floor. It's plastic but won't melt when the iron is still warm or hot. Not expensive ($7.00) and looks like it will last. Fits well on my normal iron. Prevents hot iron from touching and burning/melting other items in the closet.

After years of watching my irons fall off the ironing board, fall onto the hardwood floor, dent the floor and break the iron, I finally got into this device invested. So happy I did. He just sits on the board. actually keeps the iron upright when needed. and works well when you put the iron on the floor to adjust a garment. Excellent purchase. very satisfied, problem solved, irons no longer fall!
