Great design and sound, but useless for AM or shortwave. Internal noise.

I have two of these stations, the old model is grey. I hope they improved the reception quality of this black model. Note, however, that the two I have work the same way: they produce very loud noise on AM and HF. A strong local AM station will provide good sound, but you don't want to hear weaker signals as they pass through the interior noise. shortwave? Unless you are near a transmitter, forget it. Great little radio/player

I really like this radio/player. It has great sound quality and is louder than expected. I have purchased similar radios that do not have the USP Turntable function included. 4 from this company for the last year as gifts. Everyone liked them. I keep one for myself and enjoy it often. Tivdio L-258 radio suitable for portable audio and video devices

The Tivdio L-258 is a good radio that works well enough and won't break the bank. I like that it has a digital frequency counter with up and down search. This greatly simplifies tuning, especially in the large HF frequency range. The sound is just incredible for such a small device.
