The contents of the radio can be seen through the transparent housing. It's amazing how few components are needed to produce a radio of this quality.

The radio I received was faulty. AM reception was an intermittent dip with reception on and off. I sent it back as Revane immediately sent me another one. The replacement works great and is a hot performer. I would buy again. It works the same as similar SONY SRF Walkman radios, making it an ideal replacement for discontinued models.

Appears to be well built and the transparent case is a plus in environments where it is required. The big problem is that when you try to use it in your pocket, the setting shifts. I have found that with many small pocket radios this is caused by movement in the pocket. I tend to leave it on my desk or desk for minimal impact. I live in a rural area and can only pick up a few FM stations and only two AM stations on good quality radio stations. For me, this radio is no match for the sensitivity.
