We really like the fabric, style and simplicity of the Hammock Chair, however it lacks functionality and safety. Slides to one side or the other regardless of which end you place the straps, very jarring and uncomfortable. Did it 3 out of 10 times that we attempted to sit in it, glad I wasn’t holding a drink 😬 Also, contacted the company about the defect. Other hammocks have a knot through the wood bar securing the hammock in place. Bummer, sending it back.

Gorgeous sturdy fabric and hardwood pole. Colors not true to photo, but I love them: The grey is actually a dark olive green. The yellow fringe is more of a dark gold, which works even better for me as I have a lot of wood trim in my house. It was really hard to get the hammock hoops on, but when I pushed the post into the hoop using the floor and my body weight, and then it went right on (see photo). I bought this chair for my daughter's room. It works really well for the space. My daughter loves to sit in it and read or listen to music, She wanted a calming, hang-out space. The fabric does have rich colors though they are not as bright as the pictures on the website. The fabric is soft and doesn't feel scratchy like outdoor fabrics can sometimes. I was looking to replace a hammock chair that was falling apart (bought in Mexico), and decided upon this chair in the blue. It was very easy to assemble, comfortable and attractive. I did purchase a hammock spring to enhance the motion for this item. We use it outside, under our deck in a protected area. Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 11 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves it. It is very stylish, and very comfortable.

My daughter loves to read in her room and now with this chair she can sit and read her books while stairing out her bedroom window and day dreaming and imagining what her own life could be! She loves it. Very sturdy.

These are pretty and work great. We needed comfortable chairs tall enough to see over the window divider. Other chairs were too short and the only tall chairs we could find were counter/bar stools. These solved the problem. I cut off the hanging tassels at the top.

Love this hammock chair. Super comfortable. I must admit, I had hoped I could totally stretch out in it and be completely supported by the fabric. Some of the pictures show that. Maybe the model is very petite. I can sit crosse legged and be comfortable though. My kids love sitting and reading in it on the deck

My daughter (8) could spend hours every day sitting in this hammock reading. Absolutely loves it. Only recommendation is do not buy the hook recommended by ebay as the "additional purchase", it is too small and doesn't fit the hammock.

We bought this for our 10 yr old daughter. It was easy to install (we had to provide the hardware ourselves) into the roof of her room. She claims that it’s like sitting in a cloud. It’s sturdy and really comfortable and a wonderful addition to her ocean themed room.

Nothing wrong with swing, just do not expect it to work with stand in picture. Swing almost hits ground before you even sit in it

I've tried other hammock chairs, this had the most support for head and neck. Will be a great chair to read a book in on the patio. No real instructions for assembly included. Chair is made in China - not Brazil.

My daughter is in love and everyone that has sat in it has commented how comfortable it is. It only took my husband 20 minutes to hang with some hardware and extra rope from the hardware store!

We bought this for our special needs grandson as a place for him to go when he needed to calm down, or to just unwind. We purchased this for our13 year old granddaughter’s Christmas gift. She loves it. They purchased a stand rather than attaching it to the ceiling. She says it’s super comfy.

I hung this swing on my front porch, i love it and have not had a problem with it at all. The only thing is that to properly hang it up, i needed to get a chain, a S hook that could support the weight, and a special spring that could also support the weight. I found all this stuff at Lowes, I'm sure Home Depot would have it too. My worry was about mildew or mold on the fabric from being in the elements, but its been fine so far. I'd definitely suggest it!
