💧 Watts Reverse Osmosis Replacement Filter Set: 5 pcs with CSM 50 GPD Membrane - Efficient Water Filtration Solution Review

4 out of 5 filters were correct. 5th filter was unfortunately the main filter and the most expensive. Revane went to the plate and took care of the problem. It still cost me $20.00 more than it should have. The blue filter is a reverse osmosis membrane and is not suitable for the Watts WR5 system.

I have a wp5 watt system and an o-ring on the reverse osmosis membrane vs what came installed in the kit. See photo. Will it work? Who knows. I am going to find that out. If not, my rating will reflect that as this thing is a hassle to remove and replace. To update. The supplied reverse osmosis membrane will not work with the WP5 50 watt system.

Didn't look carefully when buying replacement filters for my wp4 watt and bought these filters. The final filter could not be used, and the reverse osmosis membrane is different from the membrane made by Watts. Since reverse osmosis was dumping wastewater almost non-stop, I replaced the Watts reverse osmosis membrane and the problem was solved! Needless to say I should have researched before buying.

Everything BUT the membrane filter worked with my system. After installing all these filters, my system will work for several days in a row. I contacted Watts and after several troubleshooting sessions found that the membrane filter with this kit does not have a flow restrictor for the system to shut off. right down. It's still a lot, but you should consider buying this kit by ditching the membrane filter and using the matching "Watts Premium" membrane.

Overall good product but not the best filter quality. My main concern is that despite claiming this is for the Watts W-525, the polishing filter will not fit. The one that came with the RO has push-in fittings and the one that came with the kit has threaded fittings so there's no way to get it to work. So while most filters work well, one of them is useless. I should have read the comments as it seems many other people are complaining about the same issue. Now I have to hunt another. Next time…

I am very disappointed in these Watts filters. After installing these Watts water filters, my drinking water became white as milk and had a lot of little bubbles in it and they wouldn't come out. I am very disappointed in this Watts reverse osmosis replacement filter. This company needs to give me a refund because they sell a product that doesn't work. Thanks to these Watts filters I have to buy water from the store and lugging around a heavy 5 gallon water bottle is no fun at all.
