These are replacement parts for a 5 stage reverse osmosis but if it only contains 4 filters it should not be advertised as a replacement for the '5 stage' filter as it only comes with 4 filters is supplied. The reverse osmosis membrane is the main filter and is not included in the scope of delivery.

The final taste and odor filter comes with plastic caps with 1/4 inch pipe thread. For installation you will need to purchase 2 1/4MIPx3/8OD John Guest fittings or other fittings required for your system as these are not included. In my case I was unable to use the old filter fittings as they were in installed the bar.

Still a problem! I even contacted the company over the phone before placing the order and they assured me the correct quick disconnects would be on the outlet filter. Not only is the description wrong, the photo also shows quick release buckles. Not happy with customer service or promotion of this product!

This is a handy package for most standard 4-stage reverse osmosis sub-systems. An exception to this is the reverse osmosis film, which is usually changed every 1-2 years depending on the water quality. For the price, this is all you need to update your filters every 6 months. Just make sure you throw away the 1st water tank after every filter change or you will end up with black water from dust on the carbon filters.

The label amuses me that the cap is very durable. It literally fell apart in my hands like it was about to crumble. These filters are of very poor quality. Even plastic packaging looks cheap. Each of the canisters appeared to be made of cheap plastic, and two of them were broken. The rejection rate was 89.3% with a very old filter set (new to me at home), brand TCF GE, 36 GPD.
