Reversible Peasant Bodice For Renaissance, Pirate, Cosplay, And Medieval Wench Costumes Review

Beautiful corset, attention to detail/quality but sizing is off. This was very large, even with the laces drawn as tight as possible. The shoulders were also too big and there were odd gaps at the shoulders. In addition, there was a tag attached at the top of one of the laces, making this difficult to try on without accidentally ripping off the tag.I will purchase a smaller size and hope for a better fit.

Material is slightly thinner than it looks but it’s pretty. (I got the gold/green and black) There is ribbing on both sides of the lacing on the front and on the back to give it shape. It is important to use the chart to get the correct size because the lacing on the back is not heavy duty! When in doubt order up so you don’t have to stress the lacing too much. I wear medium top but I am a 34dd and the large fit me well - tied up completely in the front with room to adjust in the back lacing…

Mine came with discoloration all over the front, the fabric dye it looks like white streaks and blobs of discoloration. For the price it should be better than this.I was able to washout the spots mostly. I'm 5'6 34d 128 and the medium is slightly too big but a small would have been too small. It just doesn't fit as well as I hoped.Update. I bought this in a different color recently and wore it one time and the boning popped out of it and the laces frayed. It worked perfectly for my pirate costume. I wanted a pop of colour, and this blue tone was just the right touch. I’m injured & had to dress myself so was therefore unable to tighten the corset the way I would have wanted but I think with some assistance it would do the trick perfectly. Definitely a quality piece that I’ve decided to keep in my closet instead of my costume wardrobe. Also, it’s reversible to a darker color, thereby adding versatility.

It fit a little large but i was able to tighten enough to wear. Thanks for attention. Great for the price for a low maintenance costume.

The bodice is super nice quality, especially for the price. The fabric feels like tapestry, and no a screen print. I felt really cute walking around at the Renaissance fair.

Love love this! I bought the blue because it was reversible and I needed the black side. It fit as expected and even when I was a little bloated it felt very comfortable!Perfect for my Halloween costume and Perfect for future Renaissance fairs! Will buy again from this company when the time comes!

Absolutely loved everything about this item! I weigh 195lb and it was so flattering! I have pretty big boobs and it held everything upright and in! I recieved so many compliments!

The fit was good and easily adjustable. It is reversible and the reverse side is black. The material is thin, and if exposed to water the black dye from the inside will seep through the yellow and completely stain and ruin the product. You might have luck if you wash it in vinegar before hand, however I personally did not have that foresight.

Fantastic for the price. Very substantial material compared to other inexpensive costume products. Ribbing is great. Right size on first try & front/back adjustable. This isn't as substantial the $200-500 costumes, but you get much better than you pay for with this one. It will work great with my RefFest costume.

This might be the cheapest bodice I have ever seen. This bodice is poorly made and does not have any redeeming qualities. I wouldn't waste your money on this item. There are much better bodices available at the same price with higher quality and actual support.

Reversible. Comfortable. Really good piece for the price. I'm a big Ren Fair goer, this is comfy for all day wear. Just enough structure.

This is a beautiful piece. I ordered a medium for a play I am in. It arrived quickly and, luckily, fit as I hoped it would (given that the waist measurements for the medium size are about 6 inches smaller than my actual waist size). It looks great on stage and is comfortable as well.

I have a long torso and it was too short for me. Then when trying to tighten it the loops holding the tirs broke immediately. I returned it. I wish it worked. It has light boning like I wanted. It appeared to be reversible.

I got this for renn faire and also bought a white top from amazon to go under it. I love it so far. I got a medium and it fits well (5’5” 150 lbs). I did have exchange the first one because while I was tightening the back straps one of the tabs just ripped so be really careful when tightening those. They are fragile. The front piece is very strong though.
