I swear by the colour, it emits light. For my hair (medium ash brown), the trick that works for me is to let the color sit for a full hour. I believe the directions say to leave it on for 30 minutes (don't quote me) but I've found that if you leave it on for an hour it creates the perfect blonde color. Never orange. Never cheeky. My local Walmart used to sell the Honey Blonde color but recently stopped selling it for some reason. I'm glad I can still order it from Revain!

Okay, I'll say it right away, I panicked during processing. I only applied it to the roots and side grays and they seemed to darken very quickly when they should have lightened. I was still hesitant even after reading all the rave reviews about using this colour. My dark blonde/light brown hair doesn't fade to blonde that easily and often turns light orange/yellowish. Not this time! I'm thrilled with the beige honey blonde I got from this hair color. It also made my hair so silky and soft. I have fine, thin hair and they have greatly improved texture and color. The color itself was good and expected and definitely colored my hair. However, after I washed the color off, there wasn't even a hint of purple left.
