I love my Revos! - my new review

Forget the Ray Bans and Oakleys . Revos are the best and the value for money is incredible. Fun fact - Ray Bans used to be made in the USA and sold in gas stations in the early days until a luxury eyewear conglomerate bought the company, move production to Europe, and jacked up the price. All you're buying is the "idea" of luxury . so save yourself some money and get the Revos. They're great quality sunglasses for a solid price.

Pros
  • Great pair of Sun Glasses will get another pair. Love them
Cons
  • I like these glasses but there is a screw protruding from the right side

Outstanding clarity.

Tried many different brands through Ebay, and for this So. Cal boy.these are The Bomb. Well done. A first time buyer of Revo eye ware. Get some!

Pros
  • Love them!!!!!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people who require bifocals

Tough and Sharp Looking Sunglasses

I'm a REVO Fan. but I always break my sunglasses. I typically put one of the temple arms in my back pocket and end up forgetting they are there and sit down on them breaking the hinge. Well a few weeks after I bought these I had done the same thing, put them in my back pocket, a few hours later jumped back into my SUV and sat right on top of them. My first thought was well at least I didn't pay $300 for them. Imagine my surprise to discover I did not break the hinge or the glasses. The lens…

Pros
  • Polarized
Cons
  • Received Panthera not the Grylis that was advertised.

Rost Revo Sunglases ever bought

Its a real SHAME that this brande made this colaboration. this are the Worst pair of Revo's ive had in my life. I have had 12 pair of revo's an OMG. i even CANT believe that these are Revo. extremely uncomfortable, the suns burns my eyes. Are these really Revo Tech? it has been my worst experience with the brand. I cant believe it.DO NO BUY this model, its terrible.I trashed it, total waste of money

Pros
  • Great Fit Look and Optics
Cons
  • Broken on arrival. Not worth the money. This pair was a disappointment

Buy gas station sunglasses instead

Though they’d be high-end optics for the price. Ended up being gas station quality or worse. In 2 months normal use these mirrored lenses look horrible inside and outside. They scratch just by normal cleaning! Plus you can see the Revo logo in your periphery. The Ray Bands I owned (glass lenses) never scratched and had much better build quality.

Pros
  • I love Revos and to find a pair for this much of a discount was like stealing!
Cons
  • Limited availability

Excellent quality and love the tint and performance of the lens, just not wide enough for my fat head! I gave them to my wife and she loves them.

Pros
  • These glasses are very well constructed and a real bargain at under $80.
Cons
  • Not like other Revos i’ve had.Seem.equal to gas station sunglasses.

Outstanding in my review

I’ve been wearing Revo sunglasses since 1997. I actually still have a pair of Revo City Sunglasses that still look like new. It’s been over 20 years since I bought a new pair of Revos. I love these glasses. They are lightweight and comfortable. The lenses are great, even on an overcast day.I am very pleased with this purchase.

Pros
  • comfortable, great lenses
Cons
  • May not sit flush against temples

These glasses are still on SALE for $149 on the Revo website. My husband had Revo's when we met in the '90s! He has had many other brands since then including Oakley but on a whim I was looking for new sunglasses for him and saw these. Checked the Revo site $179 on sale for $149 and low and behold these were only $69.99 on Best Buy! Seller was Best Buy. I read up on the different lens color (he used to have blue water) and they are still the classic Revo lens shade. They offer max glare…

Pros
  • Just Plain Cool Man
Cons
  • Broken on arrival. Not worth the money. This pair was a disappointment

Small frame size.: my feedback

Like the blue tint and light weight. Only dislike is the distance from temple to temple. The glasses look too small as the bows extend out more than 90 degrees as seen from above. Should be some way to size the frames to avoid this?

Pros
  • Just as advertised. At 50% off, no brainer. Great glasses.
Cons
  • I like these glasses but there is a screw protruding from the right side

Awesome sunglasses!

I absolutely love these glasses! Revo claims to have the best lenses available and I believe it. These glasses are light, comfortable, and great looking. Will recommend to anyone!

Pros
  • They are very light and do a great job at blocking glare. Great driving glasses!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people who wear hearing aids

WARNING: These are NOT the model advertised in the listing

These appear to be actual Revo sunglasses and as such, they seem to be of high quality with nice lenses, etc. However, I am leaving a poor review because the pair I received (and others as well now that I read the reviews) are not the Espen model, but Panthera--which is evidently a cheaper, co-promoted model. To me, this is false advertising. The sell has created an intentionally misleading product listing intended to get us to pay more than the product is worth. They are banking on most people…

Pros
  • They are very light and do a great job at blocking glare. Great driving glasses!
Cons
  • Not like other Revos i’ve had.Seem.equal to gas station sunglasses.

I received Panthera’s, like a lot of other people

If there is no difference in quality between the espen and panthera’s then I won’t be too upset. But the fact that this issue has not been resolved is pretty unacceptable.

Pros
  • I love Revos and to find a pair for this much of a discount was like stealing!
Cons
  • Polarized lens may distort depth perception

Recommend glasses: my feedback

Great glasses. Didn’t like that the frame part for the ear was loose and bent. Seeing that I’m impatient i will never send them back and wait for another pair

Pros
  • Great pair of Sun Glasses will get another pair. Love them
Cons
  • No anti-reflective coating available

Perfect for water sports

The outside mirror effect on these shades is very cool. Around the yard, they're on the slightly dark side and don't transition well going inside the house. However, on the lake, they really shine. No glare at all. You're eyes won't tire, and they are super lightweight as well. Happy paddleboarding to you!

Pros
  • I love Revos and to find a pair for this much of a discount was like stealing!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people who require varifocals

These are good shades but NOT Espen as advertised!

I like Revo's sunglasses a lot. I think they're the best. The problem I have with these glasses is that they are not the model that was advertised! The glasses work well and fit well so I will keep them, but I'm not happy that I paid for one product and a different product was substituted without any notice or price change or other accommodation! That doesn't seem like good business to me!

Pros
  • Exelente vendedor
Cons
  • Not like other Revos i’ve had.Seem.equal to gas station sunglasses.

Not Bear Grylls but Cheaper Panthera

Apparently I’m not the only one that got Panthera’s instead of Bear Grylls and I could’ve bought them for $59.99 online instead of $69.99.Is this a scam? This is the description from REVO;These lightweight sunglasses were exclusively personalized for Crate Club by Revo and feature the Panthera design in Black Matte with Blue Water Lens

Pros
  • Good packaging, good glasses case, nice color, good price / quality... Recommended products...
Cons
  • May not be suitable for low-light conditions
