Used them to turn on lights in a greenhouse and to be honest they were junk. Not all connections work, some blink and others are one or more colors. I ended up having to remake the connections, which was really tedious and a waste of time and money. Won't buy this again.

I have used them at the ends of all cable runs wherever the main cable run connects to the devices, speakers etc that run the LED strip. I used solder shrink connectors to connect them to the ends of the branches, with sockets on the ends of the main branches. Pins on all the individual sections of the LED strip so they can be connected, disconnected and placed in different places/moved along the main run. Works perfectly! I recommend!

Better than direct soldering in my opinion. Connectors provide good strong connections. The wire is thinner than I was hoping for, but I haven't seen or felt any heat issues in my LED project. I connect one side to 10mm RGBW tape and the other side to an 18AWG extension cord. It's easy to solder. I simply add some solder to the LED pads before pressing them in place. Very quick and easy.
