Unreliable lifting aid for cycling

The lifting bracket is flimsy and unreliable posing a safety hazard when attempting to lift heavy bikes onto the roof rack... The only positive aspect is its compact size, making it easy to store in a toolbox. However, this is not enough to compensate for its poor quality and high risk of accidental injury. Overall, it's a disappointing addition to any sports and outdoors gear collection..

Pros
  • Allows for easy installation and removal of heavy and bulky roof rack accessories
Cons
  • Requires additional purchase of compatible roof rack system to use

Good mount for high rise roof bars

Works like the advertised slots in most T-slot roof bars, holds one side very securely and has an extra locking hole so you don't have to worry yourself that someone steals it very easily. My only concern is that the folding arm side is loose and not all surfaces are covered with foam insulator so it rattles. So keep that in mind before you buy it. Overall I'm very happy with it. I keep my jack in a case so I don't have to worry about rattling, and it keeps the jack out of the way but not too…

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Only available in white
