feel like plastic best in my review

These spurs feel like plastic, which would not rust, but I expect a certain heft to a spur. Returned and will find something else.Packaging is very generic and did not indicate Korsteel or Weatherbeeta

Pros
  • Spurs
Cons
  • The metal edges of the spurs are sharp and can cause accidental cuts and scratches to the rider or the horse, making them potentially dangerous to use

Tight on the heel: my feedback

They work well in a pinch, but I have slim feet and they dig in quite a bit. They pinch right at the ends making a pivot point so they do tend to slide around a lot up and down making them less effective. They work for the little use I have, I just make sure to put them on just before and take them off just after I ride.

Pros
  • Crops, Whips & Spurs
Cons
  • The instructions that come with the spurs are vague and unclear, making it difficult for inexperienced riders to use them properly

Inexpensive but functional

The spurs are fine - the cloth straps are quite inexpensive -- leather is better. But for someone who rarely uses spurs - this is a fine deal.

Pros
  • Good fit and the girls liked them. good value for money
Cons
  • The spurs themselves are ok but as other reviewers mentioned the straps are very cheaply made.

Great spurs. - my new review

I would reccomend buying some leathers because the straps that come with the spurs are a little cheap and stretch quickly, but the spurs themselves are a great product. Right size and right price; I would highly reccomend this seller.

Pros
  • Exactly as expected. Great quality and a fraction of the cost at the tack store
Cons
  • Straps broke within a month of having them.

Did not receive the straps

I did not receive the straps. I tried to contact the company but never received a response. The Spurs are fine but t am very disappointed not receiving the straps.

Pros
  • Other Sports
Cons
  • The Korsteel Never Rust Spurs are heavy and unbalanced, which can throw off a rider’s center of gravity and affect their ability to ride efficiently and safely

Sharp looking spur!

Spurs work and look great- I didn't like the look of the nylon strap so I put leather ones on instead. They are easy to clean and look sharp!

Pros
  • Great bumper spurs for the money.
Cons
  • Did not come with a spur strap as advertised.

Decent quality for a good price.

Not the nices spurs out there, but they are fine for every day riding and schooling. Overall, they could be a bit nicer, but are decent quality for the price. We have a couple of pairs of these and they seem to be holding up.

Pros
  • I preferred leather straps. I made some.
Cons
  • it bends really easily. dont buy this.

Decent starter spurs

Decent starter spurs, and very shiny. The straps will be replaced at some point, as they are nylon webbing and seem like they could snag or fray easily--however you can't beat the price. My only criticism is that the seam around the inside makes them look cheap, and I am concerned that the "never rust" exterior is merely a coating that will chip off; but time will tell, and overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Pros
  • Available in ladies and mens
Cons
  • Due to the nature of the metal used, the spurs have a tendency to rust over time, which can damage leather on riding boots and even cause skin irritation to the wearer

Poor quality, outer layer came off

Had for 8 months now. Used a couple times for showing and lessons, and the outer layer has come off, revealing a layer of copper and another type of metal. Whatever the outer layer is made of that makes it super shiny, doesn’t last. Poor quality.

Pros
  • Exactly what I wanted good price. I ordered leather spur straps made all perfect.
Cons
  • The straps are flimsy and are prone to breaking or snapping off during use, which could potentially be dangerous for the rider

Stars for spurs! on my review.

Just what was needed, good price. Nice solid construction and with two disciplines for riding needs. Pays to shop around.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The cost of these spurs is higher than other comparable options on the market, making them a poor value for the money

Great for the price

These work great. The straps aren't the best but I bought these as spares so they work great for that purpose. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Works well, not expensive. Definitely a training spur and not for shows.
Cons
  • The straps that came with it broke very quickly. Also they slip like crazy.
