A lightweight unit made primarily of injection molded plastic components, designed for ease of manufacture, performs well for its size and is rated for hundreds of hours of use. Rated "6.5 peak hp" misleading and useless to a potential buyer. We need vacuum manufacturers to report volume or mass flow under some standard operating conditions. They would be more useful specs to compare.

When my vacuum arrived the hose was slightly snapped but I taped it shut and didn't care much. While the vacuum worked almost decently for about 2 months (though not as much as advertised) it's now completely out of whack. I've tried changing the filters a couple of times but still nothing - you can barely feel the suction coming out of the bottom of the hose and it still has a hard time picking up the sawdust, screws/site cleaning, which is why I bought it first place. . Why would anyone buy something like this? Vacuum. suction power? Closer to zero! It's a piece of junk. You end up having to clean the workplace/workshop with a broom and manually more than with it. God. This is the beast of shop vacuums, love it in all its glory! A stainless steel bucket is best because, unlike plastic buckets, it's easy to clean. I used it as a leaf blower on my patio, I used it to clear sawdust off the sidewalk. That's great. Good performance, a bit noisy but not louder than any other as far as I can tell. The only downside in my opinion is the hose. It seems a bit cheap to me. When I pull on it while blowing/sucking, it sometimes falls apart. The fasteners don't "lock"

This thing goes above and beyond. More than enough suction power, long power cord, even big wheels to roll the power cords around. The nozzles are good but I use Myine for dust collection and water suction. A word of the wise, stainless steel will soak in carbon if steel filings sit there for a very long time.
