Better than the previous vacuum we had

I like this model a lot more than the previous Ridgid vacuum we had. The hose has become more flexible, the device more compact and less prone to tipping. Although he uses the same nozzles.

Very poor suction, hose uncomfortable, too stiff, won't flatten out (plastic memory)

I believe "I've always had a RIDGID shop vacuum. The previous one was a 16 gallon, 6.0 hp. Great machine but too heavy to empty when more than half full. After 5 years of normal use the hose burst. No direct hose change..(This is the standard size)?Had contacted RIDGID with no help so donated a very good cleaner to charity.Bought a smaller 6 gallon cleaner for better handling.Bad idea, good size and weight were in Fine but the vacuum had poor suction The hose was too stiff and pulled the lightโ€ฆ

Cheap assembly is best for cleaning and hygiene

Overall a good cleaner but the hose fell out of the permanent nozzle fitted at the end after about 10 uses. I should be able to fix it with super glue, but I'd still like to send it back.
