not the quality I expected and appreciated.

not the quality I expected and appreciated from Riedel lines. The glass is a bit thicker than I'm used to and there seems to be a thin rim. I wouldn't buy them again.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

These glasses break and break just as easily as the cheap ones.

I was hoping that these lenses would be more resistant to cracking and breaking than the cheap ones. not so! Just buy cheap wine glasses and save some money. The dishwasher eats them. then you choose the glass from below ugh!

Pros
  • Perfect for a small house
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great all round product but delicate

Really great and versatile lenses, suitable for red, white and even glitter. Great if you have little space in the apartment. They are just gentle when you brush them. I haven't broken any yet, but I can tell you that it can happen more easily than with other glasses. However, it is much more pleasant to drink wine from a glass of mystery than from another brand.

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • No mold required

We love the small wine glass

We were looking for the same size small wine glasses as before. Not the gigantic sizes that are typical these days. They meet almost all requirements. Top opening 2 1/8 inches. The opening may be slightly larger; maybe 2 1/2 inches. The leg is a little shorter than we would like. They're labeled "Red Wine Glasses" but we'll use them for white and red wine. The quality is very good. The price is good.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • No paint required

Disappointing quality at Riedel prices

I always thought this was the best budget all purpose jar on the market but now I'm not so sure. The shape is the same but the quality of the glass itself is not the same. A clear ringing used to be heard when clicking with a fingernail, but now it sounds more like a ringing, and the glasses themselves are much lighter. It was once a Riedel staple, a quality glass for everyday use. It still works but the quality isn't the same. We have been buying and replacing these glasses for many years. The

The glass is very thick, which I did not expect

I often drink from Riedel restaurant glasses and they are not as thick as cheap glasses. For $59 for 6 glasses I was expecting at least restaurant quality glasses. Unfortunately I sent it as a gift and thought it was an offensive gift. I took a sip from my glass and realized it was a terrible mistake. I have Riedel crystal and restaurant quality glasses at home. If I were to buy them I would send them back immediately. Something is wrong in the description of the glasses. I would like Riedel to

This is by far our favorite wine glass

Although we have used different types of Riedel glasses in different sizes, this is by far our favorite wine glass. They can be washed in the dishwasher but still look like pretty glasses. (I've always broken thinner Riedels when hand washing them.) Also, the stem isn't too tall, so they're dishwasher safe. We don't want to have/hold a different glass for every type of wine we drink and have found that this size and shape works well for both red and white wine. Because the bowl is small, it…
