good replacement wire harness

Used this wire harness to connect two cube lights on my JKU. I've never wired headlights before so I wanted an easy to use wiring harness. I cut the connectors and used a crimp to attach them to my lights. Worked very well and was very easy.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • unreliable

Working after a year - potential for improvement

Have this hooked up directly to the battery on my BMW s1000r. Associated with large fog lights. Still working. Would give 5 stars if the cable was rated for higher current draw and was weatherproof.

Good Wiring Harness - Installing a D2 Jeep Wrangler

This wiring harness was used to install a D2 hard pair to a Wrangler windshield mount. The harness works very well, appears to be of good quality, solid construction, good materials and no issues. Very easy installation, with plug and play directly on the D2.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Reliability

Good wiring harness suitable for electrics

Well made wiring harness, built in fuse and relay. If you are not using RI lights you will need to cut and splice the ends together. Or buy a set of plugs. Really saved me installation time. Great for most setups but my wires were a bit short. I installed it in my XJ which is powered by a second driveway battery. front seat. Worked great though, not a big fan of switches. Occupies a much larger hole than standard switches and looks odd.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Sad equipment

Definitely test beforehand.

Received the tourniquet everything looked fine after I connected everything it didn't seem to work. If I plug in one lightbulb it works fine, but if I plug in both lightbulbs the fuse blows. Had the entire suspension run through twice, everything looks fine. Each bulb works perfectly on its own, only if both are connected does the fuse blow. I may have a bad wiring harness, but I've already cut a few wires so it's my fault for not checking first.

Pros
  • Surprisingly
Cons
  • sad package

Read the review first!

First off, it's very good construction, great use of materials and a solid wiring harness from Rigid. You may be wondering why I only give it 3 stars. I bought this harness to replace a worn out D2 kit harness I have, but the connectors in my D2s are different (maybe from the previous generation) than in the harness. I cut the plugs and replaced them with spare plugs I had. The lighting works great, but Rigid and Revain should warn us about these changes in this case.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not all fit

Wires too short for spares

Seems to be ok but when using the 2 bonnet light (A frame) wiring harness the wires are too short to get from the passenger side to the bonnet from the driver side. I'd say 2 feet shorter if I had to guess. I had to cut and splice an extra length of wire to get there. Best suited for bumper mounted lights that are usually close together. I'm not sure who really makes them. The Revain page says it's sold by Rigid. But if you buy it somewhere else. I've had hard headlights and wiring harnesses…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Quality
