Not recognized by the computer

I would like to rate the characteristics of this cable, but it just doesn't work with my home computer! it's like USB-C to USB-C as a charging cable. But my original plan of using it as a higher speed data cable just won't work. But my Windows 10 PC only sees connected devices for a second and then disappears. The same devices connected with a standard USB cable connect without any problems. My guess is that this device needs some sort of Windows driver to be fully recognized and those don't…

Great all round cable

This cable is great! This cable really does it all and really shows why USB C is so cool! I've used it to charge my MacBook Pro, transfer data from my PC to an external SSD, and power an external display, all with great success. I like the red color and the braided cable; I wish they had made a 10ft version of this cable so I could replace my MacBook Pro's standard charging cable. All in all, if you need a 6ft USB-C cable, this is it! 5/5!

  • Don't waste too much time

Cable good for computer accessories and peripherals

I bought this cable to connect my Sabrent USB-C NVM-E https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-EC-NVME-Aluminum-Enclosure-Nvme Enclosure /dp/B07K4TZQ7D for my 2019 16" MacBook Pro. The cable looks well made and sturdy and performs as expected. I might buy another one just in case as USB-C is just our home for now.

This is your Oculus cable

I only bought this cable to use with my Oculus Quest. I've been using it regularly for about a week and have no complaints, it seems durable and gives the green light to connect Oculus Quest to a compatible PC. I would never pay $70 for an Oculus USB cable, this one works great. I will also confirm that it supports the function of charging at the same time as using.

Only works with certain peripherals

I purchased this cable to use with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Hard Drive Dock. My computer doesn't even recognize that the dock is connected to this cable. I also connected a portable SSD to my PC with this cable and it connects at rated speed. The maximum cable length for USB 3.1 Gen 2 is "less than 1 meter" (3 feet or less). This is the second brand of 5ft cables I've bought that claims to offer USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds and failed, although the first connected the dock at USB 2 speeds - got my gear…
