Great tool for planted aquariums.

They are excellent for trimming plants in aquariums. The angle at the tip makes it easier to access the plants and allows me to cut just the leaf I want to remove. The length fits most of my aquariums. They're made of stainless steel so they won't rust with use, which is great since they're only used underwater.

I used the cheaper direct version to trim aquarium plants. How painful. They are heavier and the curved tip makes trimming plants easier. They are worth their price. I've been using them several times a week for several months and haven't had any rust problems. I wouldn't trade them for another pair. Happy Plant Trimming, Ed S.
