very small Best in Wetsuit

According to the Rip Curl size chart my son's size (height 1.60m) is smaller than XS. However, I bought an S and it runs very small! It doesn't suit him. I think he should have bought M. Small shoulders, small arms and wrists!

FITS SMALL - Wetsuits

All rip curl wetsuits are not true to size. I know I'm taller but I ordered the full suit and this wetsuit top and both are three sizes smaller than they actually are. I usually use an XL t-shirt and I know the ripcurl runs small so I ordered an XXL wetsuit top but gosh my mate thought it was a bit tight.

Torn with it for the second time

I've been surfing for ages and these wetsuits always last 2-3 years before wearing out. This one, on the other hand, broke when I was paddling to catch a wave. The top itself wasn't super tight and felt like the perfect size to me. But he seems literally torn to pieces. I really hope it was just a defect in this neoprene top but I won't risk it again. If you're just swimming this might work, but not for surfing.
