Leather mittens? Definitely! Seriously, I have nothing to say about that other than wonderful things. The leather finish is stunning. You don't have to be an expert (I'm certainly no expert) to see, touch and smell leather and know it's high quality. From the texture to the leather finish. everything is so cute The mittens are lined with fleece but not very thick with padding. That's a big plus for me. When it gets really cold I add liner. Bought mittens for my husband who has hand problems. I can't put on a glove so I figured this would be a good alternative. They are well made and comfortable.

Baked these bad boys three times with Knix wax and they are warm enough on the 18 foot slopes of Taos and Colorado. Not as heavy or lined as fire gauntlets and feels like quality construction. Just treat them before use to bring them up to that heat level.
