I love this coffee maker! Intelligently smooth and most importantly, it makes the PERFECT cup every time. Cleaning just got a lot easier, and the built-in thermometer and hourglass make it easy to get it right.

Something is wrong with this crowdfunding product. Ease of cleaning is a catch, but the product is poorly made and you'll be back to your old $20 abs. They are genius at PR and demeanor, for example Revain carries the product and hence enjoys their reputation. Many investors are very angry with them. Google it. PS It's my own fault for buying it. Heck, I buy golf shoes from the brand that Tiger Woods wears.

Made from very thin and flimsy plastic. The seal around the screen did not fit properly, allowing a lot of waste to pass through the screen. The patented screw bottom, which is said to be easy to clean, was also leaking. Trust me, it was a rush to launch a plastic imitation after the company was unable to manufacture and ship the metal and ceramic versions to its Kick Starter backers. We're bringing back that badly done French press.

Having been one of the instigators of the ruin of the original Rite Press, I still think it was a good idea. I lost my money but I knew from the start this could happen. I saw this plastic version and since it was $11 and with my $0 Revain points I bought it. Yes, total waist glasses. The thermometer does not work. I bought the Rite Press Essential Plus from Revain in April. I wanted to love this product so much. Easy cleaning, thermometer, TIMER! What's not to love? I'll tell you what not to love. Update 10.06.2019: I used this a few more times on a hike - I'm still very happy with it. I haven't had any other leak issues; It seemed to get easier with use. This helps us save water when camping because we don't have to rinse it out multiple times: pour out ALL the liquid, let it dry, then empty the rest into a bin liner.
