I have two, both for displaying large paintings that I got or bought cheaply. I've always wanted light for paintings and they are perfect. They've lasted a year and the batteries are still good, they look great, they're easy to set up and the price is right.

This little lamp looks great on the wall even though it's made from lightweight plastic rather than metal. But it looks like metal and does a great job with the dark print that an artist friend of mine gave me. I haven't had to change batteries yet. This can get a bit tricky. For the price, however, it is quite well made. Even came with my little wall mount leveler.

Such an unsuccessful purchase. I ordered bronze and it looks like bronze in the picture but I have an ugly tan with black spots like a dinosaur egg. The listing says 70 lumens but the package I received says 54 lumens. FALSE ADVERTISING! I wasn't expecting much for the price, but nothing on this list was right. Don't waste your time.

Junk. After 10 minutes of trying to separate the back mounting plate from the light fixture, I attached the plate to the wall. Easy . I could neither how nor how to mount the ceiling on the wall. Scratched on the wall and even if I could attach it how would I bother taking it off to change batteries as I couldn't easily take it off when it wasn't on the wall. save your money Cheap plastic from China.

God how cheap. The price couldn't be better, but the quality is so cheap they just don't work. Yes the light came on but even with new batteries it was hard to tell if they were on. Cheap plastic batteries kept falling out. If you need a low price, you've come to the right place at the Rite Lite store. I wish I could tell you what I replaced them with, but I decided to go to a frame shop and see what they have so I can assess the quality. Much luck.

It wasn't that bad, I would have thought a little more, but it was ok, used it to light a 20x30 plaque, the light wasn't that bright, but it was enough to illuminate the focal point. It was very light, the design was nice in that even when attached you can easily remove it to change the battery. Screws are included, it also gives you measurements so you can easily line them up and mark them. Storage and portability were a breeze as you can rotate it even while attached. I was looking for a simple and inexpensive way to light up a painting. I found this at Revain and ordered it straight away. Then I started reading the reviews. I love this lamp! It's perfect for painting in the darker part of my living room. The light shows all the colors of the image in pure clarity. Despite the many negative reviews I decided to risk this lamp. I have two 8.5" x 11" documents mounted on 10.5" x 13" plates. Each of them is hand-signed by Kurt Vonnegut. I wanted something to highlight some of my work but didn't want to pin anything. I have to admit I love how it looks on the wall but I'm disappointed to find out how cheap it is. The stock photos in the listing do not accurately reflect this as the device as a whole does not have a consistent matte gold finish.
