I am a designer and bought this lamp based on reviews. To be honest it's better than I expected. I doubt the bronze part is real bronze but the final look is amazing. The lamp is stylish and looks like a real mid-century product, smooth and shiny. China is constantly improving its products.

I ordered this lamp but it was delivered with a manufacturing defect which resulted in the entire lampshade being crooked. It looks great and appears to be of good quality with a weighted bottom. There is also a good level of light with two LED bulbs. Unfortunately, when I went to return it, it was out of stock, so I'll have to wait to see if I can order a replacement. I love this lamp. Either my poor eyesight or my short attention span has convinced me that the entire base is the texture of the wood. No, that is not so. Gold on the bottom with a beautiful veneer on top. The drum curtain is rolled up as a flat canvas with Velcro, so there is a large seam on the drum curtain itself during the assembly process. Looks good but this lamp is very cheap. There is a wire that is not properly connected and the lamp will go out if you miss your breath incorrectly. There is no way to fix this as the bottom is closed. The on/off buttons are also broken. Excellent. UPDATE Spoke to Revane and they sent me a replacement. When the lamp arrived I noticed that it had two small discolourations along the edge of the round wooden base. A furniture marker would solve this problem, and I tried not to get upset that the $85 lamp arrived damaged. Then after assembly I noticed that the gold pin was off center from the wooden base. Overall impression: I really like what this table lamp is doing for my living room. I needed something that could serve as a table that wasn't too big and it worked great. I really, really wanted to love this lamp. I was looking for something more modern for my bed that would take up less space than a large lamp. The lamp arrived in very good condition and assembly was easy. The lamp itself is beautiful, but unfortunately that's where it ends. This floor lamp is unique and functional. I'm not the type of person who usually writes reviews but I shamelessly rely on them to help me with my purchasing decision and wished there was more detail in the product description when I was reviewing this floor lamp. The shade is 18 inches high and 16 inches in diameter. The table sits 21 inches off the ground and is approximately 17.5 inches in diameter. Overall the quality is 8 out of 10 in my opinion. I can't believe this lamp is over $80, it's barely worth $30 in my opinion . Style naturally beautiful but the product is poorly designed and executed. As another reviewer commented, due to the way the inner metal part is organized, you see weird tints on the lid from almost all sides, making the fabric look smeared! It also appears that the gold color is applied to the base on top. There was some kind of sticky/oily stain on mine and I tried to remove it with a little soap which to my surprise
