Works fine but press really hard to get a good grip on the wires!

They work well for about a month. I had an issue where the connection was poor and my speed dropped to 100Mbps. All I had to do was push really hard with the pliers. Then I sealed it tightly with tape. This can be inconvenient but useful if you don't have a punch tool.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Punchdown is easier

It works and wasn't that bad to set up. I removed the star because it's the right place to place all the wires and then crimp them onto the capstone, not for those of us with sneakers for fingers. I've found that a regular keystone is just easier, even if you use the cheap tool they provide. Otherwise it works and does what it should.

  • Best in its niche

Fair product, not for all uses.

Sizing issue: When compact harness inserts are used, they don't fit side by side. Made them a little painful to install. Installation problem: The tool-free installation, while pleasant, was beyond tedious in a practical application. It's easy at the table, but not under the table. Value: Overall, they do the job they need and provide a full, glitch-free connection to my computers. There were no problems with the delivery or with the product other than those mentioned above.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I won't say anything

No, not a fan. Hitting is much easier than this.

I thought it would speed up my work - no. Back to the variety of punches. Even though they look so easy, I wasted a lot of time. Trying to align all 8 small wires and small grooves at once so you can close the latch was excruciating. Pressing down is easier - you just have to process (pierce) one wire at a time, then put the cap back on when you're done. If you have tiny hands and work in a desktop environment, this might be a good choice. To you.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Perfect product!

I have used many different Cat6 connectors and this one was the easiest to work with. As with all my setups I have always used the T568B cabling standard. No stamping tool is required and is extremely economical compared to other Category 6 connectors on the market. My 23 AWG solid Category 6 Ethernet cables with bare copper conductors were punched straight with the built in punch. All ports worked correctly on the first try for a 1 Gigabit network. I will definitely buy more. I will try to buy

Easy to install once you understand how to use it

This is my first time using an RJ45 connector of this design. In the past I've used the one where you crimp one wire at a time with a tool. This one is actually pretty easy to install. All you have to do is insert a wire and then close the transparent cover. This will crimp the wire. Open the transparent cover and make the next wire. Continue doing this for all 8 wires. It's pretty quick as you don't need to use any special tools. All the connectors I installed work the first time. The keystone

The first time I don't know what I'm doing.

I don't know what I'm doing, but I did it. A quick search helped. The hardest part is the cable connections. But they come with a picture on the plug itself to show you which color goes where. Also, it's made so that after leveling, you just push it down and it does the rest (there's a "no impact tool needed" as it's built into the socket). It made everything incredibly easy, I felt very smart. It is simply inserted into the trapezoidal panel. All you have to do is maybe remove part of your…
