Very solid connection

This unit is well built and should last for years, I like the twisted nature of this cable as it is above ground. In addition, it snaps securely at both ends, making it less likely to come loose.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Quality products for power and electrical engineering

The only drawback is that the side outlet of the car needs to be reinforced. The container is made of plastic. I used the backing piece from the baseplate kit after a bit of trimming. In general, the cable is of high quality and should last for years.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Arrived damage best in Power & Electrical

Arrived with cracks on both sides of the bracket. (on both sides) The packaging was intact and undamaged. (Repackaged return?). Sent back for replacement. The rest looks great. Update: Received a replacement. I can see through the unopened packaging, it also has tears in the same place on both sides.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • So far so good

Perfect replacement for a damaged power cord

Perfect replacement for a damaged cord. I checked the pins and they matched the original pins and all the lightbulbs on the tractor worked as they should. Our original cable was damaged when the car plug fell out while driving. From now on I will add a rubber band or other means to ensure the lid latch stays in place.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...

Why plug in?

Good quality in general, but I have no idea why I flooded them with RTV. I've been using these connectors for decades and have never had a problem without RTV. When delivered, a 7-pin "brake pin" is connected to a 6-pin. For my application, dirty towing with a Roadmaster Invisibrake, I wanted the brake state to change from a 6-pin pin to a 7-pin "auxiliary" pin. This allowed my RV to tow my Invisibrake car or other trailer with electric brakes. Had to spend 15 minutes cutting and selecting RTV…

Excellent 7 channel flex coil

We bought this flex coil from Roadmaster for use in our RV which used our RV lights with our rear towed truck/ vehicle connects . This is even longer than the Blue Ox Flex coil. It's really flexible and it's cheaper! I personally cut off the metal end and installed a Curt 7 pin connector exactly the same as the other end. I am also installing a 7 pin Curt socket in our towed vehicle. The metal connector is really junk and I've had a lot of problems with them corroding or the wires coming loose.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't really like it everything is fine

This cable is correctly wired according to industry pinout guidelines, although the diagram on the packaging is a bit confusing. I used the internet circuit and checked every line - everything is fine. Sounds like a small thing, but I had to remake cables from a different major supplier each time. The length is longer so it can reach my towed vehicle with less strain on the cable. It's too early to talk about durability. Save a tow tank for later - I had to replace the tank on the road last…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
