Replaced my old large heavy ballast from years of use with this ballast and the installation was very easy and the light is much brighter and these lights are in my garage and are used by the all winter with no problems, highly recommended. Used for 2 x 8ft x fluorescent lights in store, hope this helps.

I liked it. Easy installation even if you don't have much electrical experience. SIMPLY ENSURE THE POWER IS TURNED OFF WITH A VOLTMETER OR HOT STICK BEFORE replacing it. .The black wire is your hot wire and the white wire is neutral. Connect all other colors according to the scheme. Red Blue. Yellow.

Bought a dozen to replace 10 year old magnetic ballasts in 12ft HO lights. The failure rate of these ballasts is unacceptable, 6 months and the ECGs are already failing in an average building. Save money and time. Buy higher quality HO ballasts or magnetic ballasts if you can find them or you will spend too much time on the stairs.

Easy to install. Less than $27 each. Simple and clear ballast instructions. It was only a few days so far so good. But a small point - start, speed. It fires for a quick start, although it takes about 1.5 seconds to come on compared to True "Instant On" as a ballast. In general I am satisfied. If I run into any problems or they don't work in a few weeks I will update.

Today, right after I received it, I replaced the 96 inch magnetic ballast with this unit. Being lightweight, it was easy to install without removing the brackets. put two lightbulbs in - nothing. When I turned on the power, everything worked fine. They don't work like the magnetic version, but they do. And no buzzing or flickering - I'm not missing anything. The price is worth it. If it turns out to be unreliable I will edit the review but I suspect it will be redundant.

This ballast was designed for high performance materials that I've had trouble finding elsewhere. This is a programmed start ballast that gives your lamps many more starts than a quick start ballast or quick start ballast. For the price I don't think it gets any better! Compared to other lights in the store with new bulbs, those with these ballasts are a lot brighter than they are! I will probably now make the rest of the lights in my shop using these new ballasts.
