Review on 🔆 ROBERTSON PSB296T12HOMV Fluorescent 120-277Vac RSD296T12HOMVIP by Shalom Germann

I bought this electronic ballast to replace a failed magnetic ballast. Installation was easy enough, connect white wire to white wire, black wire to black wire, yellow wire to yellow wire, blue wire to blue wire, red wire to red wire. Installed bulbs, flipped switches...nothing. Tried six bulbs which worked great in another magnetic ballast fixture. None of them worked, not even a flicker. I realized that I had received bad ballast. I bought another electronic ballast locally (Osram) and installed it in the same bracket. Flipped the switch…….NOT! Luckily I also bought two new T12 HO bulbs so I gave them a try. Flipped the switch. Waited two seconds......SUCCESS! I then installed this (Robertsons) ballast in another fixture and rechecked that it would not work with any of the lamps used. Tried new bulbs. It worked great. I'm not sure why this ballast doesn't like used bulbs, but you can save yourself a lot of trouble by fitting new bulbs when installing a new ballast.
