🧼 La Roche-Posay Toleriane Foaming Face Wash - Purifying Cleanser for Normal, Oily, and Sensitive Skin Review

This toner is amazing. I have sensitive, combination, and mild rosacea skin and this is non-irritating and controls oil in my t-zone without making my skin tight. It's really magical.

I have very sensitive skin that oscillates between pimples, dryness and oiliness. This cleanser is mild enough to be used every day (twice as needed) with no negative side effects. Its purpose is not to remove makeup, but to cleanse the face, remove dirt and oil, and it's just great at that. I've been using this ever since I found it in a dermatologist's sample pack.

If you are new to skincare and need a basic cleanser for oily skin or a second cleanser in a 2-step cleansing routine, this product is for you. First, despite the ads. I've found the HOLY GRAIL of facial cleansing for sensitive skin. This product removes all makeup with just one swipe and lathers up. Makes my skin smooth and soft. I have less acne since using it for about a month. All this bottle lasted me for 3 months (1 pump per day). FYI, I also use La Roche-Posay Double Moisturizer and it's divine. Too bad I can't give 10 stars here.

I really like this cleanser. It's no frills and gets the job done (much better than La Roche-Posay's version of Gentle Hydrating Cream). I have sensitive, hormonally acne prone, dry skin and it doesn't irritate it. I have to use an eye makeup remover first when applying waterproof or super shine formulas, but this cleanser can handle medium formulas. Very happy with it and would recommend!

Agree with all the 5 star reviews for the effectiveness/softness of this cleanser but am deducting 2 stars for the design of the Pump terrible. When you use this product in the shower where the bottle is splashed with water, there is a gap in the pump that fills with water, causing almost the same amount of water to go into the bottle as the amount of detergent is dispensed. Wow. I really like this cleaner more than I thought I would. I often use a dry skin cleanser but lately my skin has become combination skin and it's amazing. I was worried my face would have issues after using it as the bottle says it's ok for oil but honestly my skin feels softer and fresher than my dry skin cleanser. I would give 5 stars but it has a scent. Mind you, I'm an asthmatic who hates anything that smells. Unless you're hypersensitive, you most likely won't mind the smell or maybe even love it. I hate scents, especially on my face. I consider them unnecessary. It doesn't matter and I've mostly gotten used to it. The soap lathers quite well and there is a lot of product for the price. Leaves a good feeling of cleanliness. I will say it cracks my skin a bit so pair it with a good moisturizer.
