These were serviceable shoes, but certainly not "classic" and certainly not "dark brown", but rather some unfortunate brown that they are not very chic, but somehow "on purpose and eye-catching" made every day look convincing. They were reasonably well done, but just a freaky slacker mongrel. I immediately returned them and bought Cole Hahn burgundy loafers instead which were much better and closer to what I needed.

My son is very fond of shoes. He needs black loafers for his school uniform. He tried about a dozen pairs. They were the only ones he liked. He wore them for months and liked them even more when they were broken. He has to wear them all day, including a lot of walking. When he outgrew them we went ahead and bought the next size up. Now he's on the third pair. These are the guards. My only complaint is the lack of arch support, which he doesn't seem to notice.

I highly recommend that you size up this shoe if you are considering purchasing it. In other words if you are a size 9 buy a size 10 shoe. I bought this shoe in my size but it didn't fit so I had to take out the insole to make the shoe fit, after that everything was fine . So I know I'll have to go a bigger size next time. On the other hand the style and look is classy, love how it matches outfits.
