I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Robert Axle design. This SRAM product is the perfect alternative. I used the axle pressure guide for the above and confirmed the size for my Giant Defy. Pros: Lighter than the original, no leverage, well made, same diameter in length compared to the thinner central original, and almost flush at the threaded ends.
