My 11 year old wears them non stop, he goes for walks in the creeks and they wear very well. The tread is thick and the padding in the shoe gives it a lot of support, if he's in it all day he'd rather walk in it than hiking boots.

I also ordered a size 13.5 and a size 1. Size 13.5 didn't fit her, and size 1 almost didn't fit her. These boots are exactly what I was looking for, just too big. They should fit her in a few years. It's about one size smaller than my 5.5 boots. We keep her and bought her a size 2.5 baby. Fingers crossed they fit!
