I have used this product but have not gotten rid of the leather smell. This is our first cowhide, but it smells like cow, maybe everyone has that smell. With my wife's sensitivity, we can't have that anyway. I don't know what to do but throw the skin away. We've tried vinegar and water, evaporated in the sun, exposed to the sun, and used this product too. Nothing helped, maybe the skin wasn't put together properly.
