Disappointing Fisheye Lens for DSLR Cameras

I recently purchased a fisheye lens FOR my DSLR camera and was excited to try out the unique perspective it promised .However I was extremely disappointed with the Rokinon Ultra Fisheye lens. The image quality was poor, with noticeable distortion and blurriness. My analysis of this product showed that it was not worth the price. The lens also felt cheaply made, and I had concerns about its durability. Overall, I would not recommend this lens for anyone looking to capture quality shots..

Pros
  • None.
Cons
  • Poor image quality, cheaply made.

not very good for photography. didn't try to make a video.

I'm not a fan of video. The reason I wanted to try this lens was because it was eighty dollars cheaper than the 12mm f2.8 photo version, which looked like an identical twin. I wanted to use it for photography. Well folks, these two lenses are not the same! Two main differences: 1. The cine model has no chip, your camera will not recognize it. there is a chip in the photo version for nikon and my cameras (d750 and d5100) recognize it. 2. On the d750 you can set up a custom lens for this in…

Pros
  • Lenses for cameras
Cons
