GREAT studio lens for camera and photography

Bought this lens for macro photography. I love it, but it took me a minute to figure out how to set up the camera for use with a manual lens.

Pros
  • F1.4-F22 aperture range with 28.3Β° field of view
Cons
  • Sad Hardware

Worth Manual in Camera & Photo

The lens is sharp (in focus) for a manual lens. All you need is a tripod for stabilization (no image stabilization, sorry), but it's just as good as a premium RF lens. So if you don't mind the old school (manual instead of autofocus) and spend less money, get this one.

Pros
  • Consists of 9 elements in 7 groups; Ultra Laminated Glass
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Annoying pet you love but too loud

For the price this lens performs very well in low light and the autofocus is very fast. It will hunt and seek in some situations, but my R5 compensates for this well with its internal autofocus system. This thing is VERY loud when I'm trying to concentrate, it reminds me of a crying puppy that needs attention as it gets the job done I deal with it. All in all you get a good lens for more than half the price of the Canon version. So far satisfied

Pros
  • 1.6m minimum focusing distance and 8 aperture blades
Cons
  • Compatibility
